BIOGAS, COGENERATION, BIOMASS, GEOTHERMICS, MINI-HYDRO AND SOLAR ENERGY: GREEN ECONOMY COMES BACK TO MILAN
Press release no. 60/10
(17/05/2010)

The snapshot of a lively market will, from 17 to 19 November at fieramilano, be on show at the renewed appointment with Greenergy Expo. The event will, for the general public and specialized operators, demonstrate the diverse aspects of the production of clean and renewable energy, the most high-tech and concrete solutions possibilities to make sustainable energetic and economic choices.

That the renewable energy sector is undergoing incredible growth is now without doubt. And that the green economy is the important driving force able to pull the worldwide economy out of the crisis is demonstrated by the important investments that countries all over the world are making in this sector: from Europe to the United States, right up to the emerging markets of Asia.

The appointments for operators of the sector are Greenergy Expo and EnerSolar+, to take place from 17 to 19 November 2010 at fieramilano, Rho. Greenergy Expo, with the slogan "Producing energy while saving the planet ", is dedicated to geothermics, biomass, the pellet industry, biogas, cogeneration, mini hydro-electric plants, green energy, biofuels, sustainable transport. EnerSolar+ is the international fair dedicated to photovoltaic and thermal solar energy.

Green energy, or rather: green economy
From biogas to biomass and cogeneration, from mini hydro-electric plants to the pellet industry, right up to geothermics and solar energy, the green economy is striding ahead.
According to the report commissioned by the United Nations Green Jobs: Toward decent Work in a Sustainable, Low-carbon World, the number of people employed in the global renewable energy sector is 2.3 million, of which 300 thousand in the wind energy sector, 170 thousand in photovoltaics, more than 600 thousand in thermal solar power (mostly in China), and the remainder in biofuels. Moreover, according to the forecasts of the Report, with suitable support policies, in 2030, workers of the sector could even reach 20 million.

After the success of the last edition, Greenergy Expo 2010 and EnerSolar+, the shows dedicated to renewable energies and to photovoltaic and thermal solar power, which are aimed at B2B and will be attended by thousands of Italian and international visitors, will be back again from 17 to 19 November at fieramilano-Rho.
"Greenergy," explains Marco Pinetti, director of the shows, is a real business tool for all those operators who have invested and who are continuing to invest in a sector, such as that of renewables, promising sure developments and paybacks. Just consider that, in Italy alone, as highlighted by the Rapporto Italia - Report on Italy by Eurispes (European Institute of Political, Economic, and Social Studies), we are speaking about a market worth close to EUR 10 billion."
The fair will have on show the best of worldwide production in terms of high-tech plants, machinery, technologies and systems and is aimed at a B2B market.
A repeated success is that of EnerSolar+, the international fair dedicated to photovoltaic and thermal solar energy, to take place at fieramilano, Rho. The show, which represents the par excellence Italian showcase of the sector, will bring together under the same roof the most authoritative national and international enterprises as far as technologies, solutions and services for both civil and industrial applications are concerned.

"Silfab ," says Franco Traverso, president and MD of the company, "is a multinational Italian company specialized in the design and realization of components and systems that involve the entire photovoltaic manufacturing chain. Set up in 2007 by Franco Traverso, a pioneer of Italian photovoltaics, with 30 years’ experience in the sector, Silfab has, as founding and external partners Pan-Asia Solar Ltd. and Sino-American Silicon Product Inc. (SAS)."

"Our aim is that of making photovoltaics an ever more winning source of energy with regards to efficiency and sustainability. EnerSolar+ is therefore a fundamental appointment to present our technological excellences in terms of performance and long-term yield. Our innovations range from last-generation photovoltaic modules, to solar parks, right up to high environmentally sustainable GreenToGreen Engineering turnkey technology packages for the production of components and systems for the entire photovoltaic manufacturing chain, from polysilicon to module."
A success, that of EnerSolar+, also confirmed by the fact that this year the show, six months before its opening, has already seen its exhibition area double that of the past edition. The B2B formula of EnerSolar+, will provide companies and operators with an unmissable opportunity to develop business and open up new international markets.

"Brandoni Solare, explains Luciano Brandoni, president of the company, "is based in Castelfidardo (Ancona), in the Marche region, and, since 2007, has been manufacturing last-generation poly-crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules. An ambitious project that has been materialized thanks to the realization of an avant garde production facility in which a production line, the first of its kind in Italy and one of the very few in Europe, assembles Italian photovoltaic modules by means of highly automated technology. The company has, in just a few years, grown exponentially, increasing its annual production capacity from 20 MW to 40MW."
"Our company is present at all the main national and international fairs of the energy sector, which are important appointments to present products to a precise target, highly informed and demanding. A fertile ground for B2B meetings and a direct and efficient method of communication that enables to transmit the message of quality and reliability that Brandoni Solare wants to promote vigorously and continuously".

We must also not forget about the great added value offered by the location of a city such as Milan, recognized as an economic and financial capital, a real Italian door to Europe.
Greenergy Expo and EnerSolar+ will take place alongside PV Tech, the international fair on productive machinery and technologies for the photovoltaic industry, and with HTE-Hi.Tech-Expo, the important show dedicated to the world of innovative technologies.

The inverter world at INVEX 2010
After the important success of the 2009 edition, with the participation of more than 450 operators - in particular fitters of solar energy plants - Invex, the event dedicated to the inverter industry, will be back. INVEX 2010 will be held Wednesday 17 November at fieramilano, Rho, and will be an interesting opportunity for the operators of a sector in which Italy has an important role: it is, in fact on of the most important manufacturers of inverters in the world. During the second edition of the Inverter Day topics: "The state of the art of research in Europe: present situation and outlooks"; "Inverters and medium/high-voltage grids"; "The fundamental role of MPPT functions: present technology and outlooks"; "Maintenance, costs and reliability of power plants".
