Invex 2009: the inverter world meets tomorrow at Fiera Milano
The first Inverter Day will bring together operators of an industrial sector with good possibilities of development in which Italy is one of the main worldwide manufacturers
Milan, 23 November 2009 - Invex 2009 is the first event in the world dedicated to the inverter industry, which will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 24 November, at the Congress Centre of fieramilano, Rho. Inverter Day will be held the day before the inauguration of EnerSolar+, the international fair dedicated to photovoltaic and thermal solar power, and HTE-Hi.Tech.Expo, the show dedicated to science, research and high-tech.
Inverters are fundamental elements to put energy from renewable sources into the grid and make plants more efficient. Despite the adverse economic situation, the market of this sector is undergoing a positive trend with good prospects of development. In fact, according to Frost & Sullivan, in Europe, the revenues from sales of inverters are forecast to grow 25% each year until 2014. In this sector, Italy has an important role, as it is one of the most important worldwide manufacturers of inverters.
Inverter Day will be dedicated mainly to installers of photovoltaic plants who, according to Frost & Sullivan, represent more than 99% of the renewable energy market. During the conference, aspects concerning inverters, their parameters, pay-back on investments, use with thin film, up to the most innovative applications in mini wind-energy plants and fuel cells, possible development in the integration of photovoltaics in the electricity grid, up to the effectiveness of protection against anti-islanding of photovoltaic inverters connected to the Italian electricity grid. The day will conclude with a round table of manufacturers.
"INVEX 2009, the first Inverter Day, is a unique initiative in the international fair panorama, which immediately attracted great interest among operators: there will be, in fact, 550 operators and 10 company sponsors taking part," said Marco Pinetti, president of Artenergy Publishing, the organizing company.
